On Monday, Monster.com posted the following statement: "What would you like to know about the Obama administration's recovery efforts, and their effect on your community? Do you have ideas or insights you'd like to ask about? Here is your chance. The White House will answer a sample of questions, submitted by Monster job seekers and selected by Monster, about the economic recovery."
Questions from Monday morning respondents included what the Obama administration will do to improve the job market for "older and disabled Americans." Questions also asked the administration to prevent companies from exporting jobs overseas.
"What we're seeing is that people are moving beyond talking about the problem," Henson said. "They're looking to where we can find the solutions."
